The Legacy
George Cheever Hazelet and Andrew Jackson Jack Meals left Omaha, Nebraska in 1898 by rail on an adventure and journey that most men and women today only dream about. George Hazelet and Jack Meals, neighbors in Atkinson, Nebraska, traveled to Alaska to try their hands at prospecting. -
What We Are Today
Today, approximately 214 acres of PVC remain and are for sale, lease or partnership investment. The original Hazelet and Meals Homesteads, totaling 700 acres of land were filed in 1899. It has continued to develop its lands and maintained a record of distributing dividends to the shareholders. -
Vision For The Future
We are actively seeking a global partnership relationship to develop this Meals Hill property with breath taking views of Valdez Bay. Ideal setting for destination adventure lodge/restaurant or boutique hotel with a mix use commercial and/or residential development in a “parkland” setting.
